Trauma Therapy for Sexual Abuse and Assault
Sexual Trauma
Healing from sexual abuse and assault is a deeply personal journey that requires a safe, specialized space to process trauma. Many survivors suffer in silence because of stigma, while those who speak up are often dismissed. Whether you are navigating the impact of a sexual assault or untangling the complex layers of childhood sexual abuse, your pain is valid, and you do not have to carry it alone. I provide a nonjudgmental space where you are supported, seen, and believed.
Sexual trauma can have profound effects on your mental health and emotional well-being. It can change how you feel about yourself, your body, your relationships, and your sense of safety. Sexual trauma includes any unwanted or nonconsensual sexual contact or behavior, as well as situations involving coercion, manipulation or circumstances in which a person is unable to give informed consent because of age, power differences, intoxication, or other factors. What happened to you was NOT your fault.
